Day 12/12

Since I was so sick for Hanukkah I'm going to share one post for every day of Christmas 🎄

It's the last day...gosh those were a wild 12 days, I got some good rest under my belt and now I'm ready to take on the first challenge.

Playtime is over kids... it's getting real and I need to organize. This is the reality, no makeup!

Since I was so sick for Hanukkah I'm going to share one post for every day of Christmas 🎄

January 3rd through the years👆
The studio has changed so much, and so have I. It's been a heck of a ride, and although I have plans, dreams and wishes I know one thing is certain- Nothing is certain!
I welcome the new year's challenges and memories with a humble heart.
I welcome new moments shared with the community and precious moments with my family.

Here's what's on this list:
2019 keys to an empty studio with 4 young children❤️
2020 that year I still believed in glycerin 🤦🏻‍♀️
2021 snatched myself a fridge cardboard 🎉
2022 my son learning how to finger knit on his own
2023 who knew making balloon dogs is so hard?!
2024 the year I realized art classes are not what people want in this community 😭
2025 spending my first winter break with my family ❤️❤️
2026 finding creativity in everything is my gift from God and I thank him every day for it ❤️❤️❤️

Who says you need a kit? 🥛🏠
We went DIY-mode this year and turned old milk cartons into the ultimate gingerbread village!
Forget just candy—we used paint, loose parts, modeling clay, and a whole lot of imagination to bring these to life. 🎨✨ No sticky fingers, just pure creativity. Which one is your favorite?

Drop ins have changed drastically over the years, I have come to terms with it. But it's still lovely to see the community enjoy it when it's available.

If you think these gingerbread houses look good, you should have seen the "construction crew." 🏗️🍭
We spent the day at Winter Break Camp building masterpieces, but let’s be real: for every gumdrop that made it onto a roof, three were "quality tested" first.
There was more finger-licking than actual icing-spreading, and I’m pretty sure some of these houses are held together by 10% frosting and 90% sheer sugar-willpower. 🍬😋
